About

The team focuses its research on the study of various logical systems with the help of universal algebra. It shows a special interest in

• topological dualities and their applications to algebras arising from logic, including Boolean algebras, lattices, semi-lattices and MV-algebras,
• relational semantics for modal logics and their connection with modal algebras,
• fuzzy logics and their corresponding algebras (more precisely many-valued logics and MV-algebras),
• recognisable languages over algebras,
  
• combinations of the two preceding themes.

 The team works in the Department of Mathematics in the Sciences Faculty of the University of Liège.
